Kelly Jones received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Iowa and currently is a School Improvement Consultant at Grant Wood Area Education Agency in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Her professional interest include leadership and change in systems, data based decision making and supporting educational environments in crisis planning and response. She serves on the Grant Wood Area Education Agency Critical Incident Stress Management leadership team and is an ICISF approved instructor for Assisting Individuals in Crisis and Group Crisis Intervention courses.

Sherry Lynn Jones is an RN and crisis management educator. Under “Sherry Jones Mayo,” she authors an anthology featuring experiences, thoughts, and feelings of emergency responders. Confessions of a Trauma Junkie (2nd ed.) will release in 2017. Sherry offers crisis management training, consulting, and conference presentations through ICISF, Michigan Crisis Response Association (MCRA), and Education Resource Strategies. With an academic tree of many branches (nursing, psychology, education) Dr. Jones writes to share what she has amassed and encourages lifelong learning.
Peer Support/CISM Coordinator

Lt. Marc Junkerman is 23 year law enforcement professional having served in various assignments to include Patrol, Special Investigations, Special Operations/SWAT and Warrant Apprehension. He presently serves as the Peer Support/CISM Coordinator for his agency, on the steering committee of the Maryland CISM Coordinator’s Network, and continues to actively lobby in Annapolis for legislative support of CISM services. Marc holds a bachelor’s degree from Lebanon Valley College [PA] an master’s degree from Johns Hopkins University.
Following a 16-year career in Children’s Services that encompassed direct support to local families as well as assisting families around the globe with broadening their families through adoption, I entered the field of Employee Assistance. Having now worked for one of the world’s largest providers of Employee Assistance Services for over 9 years, I consider it a privilege to be a resource and a support to employees and their families as they face myriad life stressors.
