Volunteer Information

What is the Work Exchange Program? Work Exchange Volunteers are an essential ingredient to the success of the World Congress 18. Work Exchange volunteers commit their time and energy and are considered to be ICISF’s representative at the World Congress.

Work Exchange duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Moving boxes, equipment and supplies
  • Collect tickets for select presentations
  • Monitor workshops, general sessions and breakout sessions
  • Greet and direct participants
  • Assist presenters with any needs

Work Exchange benefits include:

  • Access to scheduled sessions and workshops as available
  • Certificates of Completion with Continuing Education hours
  • Opportunity to interact and network with CISM Practitioners from around the World

Work Exchange requirements:

  • Must be able to attend full days as scheduled for 1- 6 days. (Hours start between 6:30-7:00am and end between 5:00-6:30pm depending upon assignment) No partial days accepted.

Note on workshop selection: Work Exchange Volunteers may request specific workshops/sessions they would prefer to attend. Every effort will be made to accommodate these requests; however, for logistical reasons, spots will be filled based on the date of completed registration received and on a first come, first serve basis.

To become a Work Exchange/Volunteer: Complete application and indicate which days you would prefer to attend and/or preferred workshop/sessions. Upon confirmation of availability, you will be emailed with approval, general assignment and registration directions. Assignments are subject to change.
